This Sunday's race for the Coomealla-Mildura Mountainless Bike Club will see racers test their mettle on the layout for next months Coomie Club Enduro. President Ian Beruldsen was wrapped with the turnout at last weekends working bee which set the 9.5 km course and undertook some track works. "We had a very productive day" Beruldsen said. "We laid a 60m board walk across the infamous "sand patch", that caused a few problems in last years Enduro and added a new drop-off down to the river track. The course will be about 9.5 km and incorporate all the best parts of the old course as well as a new section of track that runs along the river to the transition area and finish line." The main aim of this weekends race is to test the proposed course as well as give local riders a look at what they will come up against on 21st of September and provide a bit of feedback.
